Yatra Europe Super Saver - Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in London
Ride on the London Eye

Meals: Indian dinner
Welcome to London, the capital of England. London never seems to get tired. It's perhaps the gr eatest paradox of a city with a history spanning two millennia that it stays forever young and energetic. Britain's capital is home to the great art collections of the National Gallery, architectural icons such as Tower Bridge, and a rich Royal heritage, but it also spawns underground design and musical innovation. It is a city of independent villages -- for example, Chelsea or Greenwich has little in common with Shore ditch or Soho -- and a conurbation of green spaces as well as great buildings. Upon arrival you will be met by our tour manager who will help you with your transfer to the hotel and check in. Later in the evening, take a ride on the London eye. The largest observation wheel in Europe, the London Eye has become, just over a decade after it opened, a potent icon of the capital, as clearly identified with London as the Eiffel To wer is with Paris. And indeed, it performs much the same function -- giving people the chance to observe the city from above. Passengers are carried in 32 glass-sided 'pods', each representing one of the 32 boroughs of London, which make a complete revolution every half-hour. Along the way you'll see bird's-eye views of some of London's most famous landmarks, including the Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace, the BT Tower, St. Paul's, the 'Gherkin', and of course, the River Thames itself. You're free to move around inside the pod during its voyage, although everyone tends to congregate in the northern half to look out over the river and the heart of sightseeing London. 'Night flights', when you can gaze at the twinkling lights of the city, are available in winter. Proceed for dinner at an Indian restaurant. Stay overnight at your hotel.
